LET'S GET ACCQUAINTED. Working with someone means spending a lot of time together, so here's a little splash of my personality. Some of the creative references below are well known, but hopefully you will discover something new that appeals to you as well. HERE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS: Tiki CulturE (Obvi) From my first trip to Hawaii I was hooked on tiki—tiki torches, tiki idols, tiki bars, tiki mugs, tiki art, and tiki drinks (in moderation, of course). I love the whole vibe.
Marvelous Music From Billie Holiday to Billie Eilish, New Wave to Torch Songs, I enjoy a wide range of music—but I'll usually take a pass on country or folk.
Audatious ARTISTS Art is at the core of my work in advertising, and here is a small sample of the artists that push me to innovate.
Phenomenal PHOTOGRAPHERS Photography is a deep passion of mine, and these are some of the masters I admire.
Adventurous Activities Travel, hiking, biking, crabbing, flying—and all water sports! I love to get out in the world and try new things. However, since it's not always nice outside in the Seattle area, I have indoor hobbies as well: Architecture – I almost pursued architecture as a career, so whenever I am able to design home renovations I jump at the chance. Cars – I'm considering converting my 1973 VW Karmann Ghia to electric, and I'm always tinkering with my 1992 Mazda Miata. Model Building – cars, monsters, railroads, and Legos. Oil Painting – I haven't taken this too far yet, but I am putting together a studio soon. Photography – it was hard finding good pictures of me since I'm usually behind the camera. One of my favorite camera 'toys' is a FujiFilm 3D, and I'm very excited by the possibilities in VR/AR. Stained Glass – I haven't done this in a while, but I want to get back to it. Writing – I am working on four stories currently, (slowly). And, of course, reading whenever possible goes with the writing.

Collections When I find something I like, I dive into it. Here are some of the collections I am always looking to expand upon: Artwork I love discovering original works from new artists, and great prints from famous artists. Framing them is enjoyable as well—albeit too expensive. Ashtrays Glass or ceramic, I look for the vintage and stylish. No, I am not a smoker, I just like them as objets d'art. Books My favorite authors are Stephen King and Anne Rice, but some recent additions are Ernest Cline's Ready Player One, and Neal Shusterman's Scythe series. LEGOs I've played with LEGOs my whole life, and so have my kids. It is something we always enjoy doing together. Monsters Featured in films, models, and posters I own—with crossovers into LEGOs, Artwork, and Tiki—movie monsters are always welcome at my house. Neon I've always loved things that are colorful and glow with light, and to me, neon is the highest form of that expression. It's also why I started working with computer graphics. Robots Robots are the representatives of the futuristic movies that I love. I have vintage wind-ups, sculptures, and artwork from Forbidden Planet to Futurama. Tiki Mugs As I mentioned above, Tiki culture is a long-lived passion of mine, and Tiki mugs are a great and varied tribute to the genre. Vinyl Records This collection is getting too big, so now it's only the most unique albums I seek. The most recent addition being, Billie Eilish's glow-in-the-dark pressing of When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? But enough about me. Give me a call and let's talk about your needs.
